I usually never do. I did, however, have a LARGE list of school-related assignments to finish. This includes my microsite midterm that I have yet to finish. Its not the coding or the copy that is the problem. The video production of the trailer is taking forever. Its not always a quick process. I think though, that I am simply going to use photo stills from video and just tease a trailer is coming for the film, just so I can get it in. One of my pet peeves though is not turning in what I want to say is quality work, meaning my expectation of what the final product looked like in my head.

Unfortunately, I also didn’t finish my Earth Day poster for the Illustrator class and that was on display for open house. I.do.not.like. what I ultimately had to settle with. One day I’ll complete it the way I want because I must.

Yes! Git and Github! It’s pretty simple. But going through internships and job openings, I have seen so much about both of these and I am so excited to finally have done stuff with them. I would not have understood the command line stuff or anything had I explored on my own. I can add that to my resume now! I love learning new things…

… except when it comes to SCSS. Now, I know that’s not really part of this time section of the blog, but its on my mind so I have to address it. Why? Just why? I know “those computer science guys, blah, blah,” but why do people have to follow what they do? Thankfully, their extra time complicating things is going to come over to native CSS, so that is cool. I just don’t see how extra files, ultimately extra typing, and even the nesting is worth all that. Nesting is cool, but like jQuery and Javascript, you have to keep track of all the brackets or whatever at the end that closes everything off. If those guys are so smart, they’d see CSS is simpler. I question their intelligence if they think otherwise. Everyone knows that learning one thing is easier than learning two things.

Here’s to hoping I get my final project done! Cheers to you, too!

I don’t think this is because its the end of the semester, but for some reason its like I have zero time to do anything and get it done.
