I also used it on the bootstrap extra credit assignment and the way it works just clicks for me.

As for Bootstrap I have used it before, but when I tried learning it I didn’t know anything about plain CSS, which made understanding Bootstrap significantly harder. But after taking the web design courses here at Sierra, understanding how Bootstrap works was a lot easier for me and I understood a lot more on their documentation than I did years ago!

Parallax is a scroll effect that some websites might incorporate. It functions by having a background image/s that moves ( or doesn’t move ) with the content of the site ( not true parallax but that’s what we focused on the past week ). I think Parallax is really neat but if overdone, it can be somewhat distracting. But that depends on the purpose of the site that’s being designed. Sites where the text/content is the emphasis, probably shouldn’t use a complex parallax design. But if the purpose of the website is to “wow” the audience then I can see how a complex Parallax with a lot of motion could fit well into that.

The past two weeks we’ve learned about a lot of different tools and techniques and they have been very interesting.

[240

post-2101","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-aad-086-sp25
["GET
