It seems that I am making it harder than it is, for one, which in turn is making it difficult for me to remember how all the properties are going to behave. I know I tend to be anxious about learning something really well that I care a lot about; and I know I have anxiety about not getting it.

The challenges this week were interesting. At first, I was frozen because I was starting from scratch and seemed lost. Once I got started though, my main problem became choosing the right way to use flex to arrive at the correct layout. Like I said above, I generally found that I am making it more complicated than it needs to be. I did each of the exercises to the best of my ability before checking code, but I did get stumped on a few of the exercises for sure. Looking forward to much clearer understanding of how to use Flex.

I did check out a few of the links in Rachel Andrews article “Getting Started With CSS Layout”. I really enjoy her articles and find them very useful. In particular, I visited the site “https://flexboxfroggy.com/” and played with that for a bit. I like that site because it teaches in a very simple format which allows my OCD mind to keep it simple and not over-complicate what I’m learning.

[79
4,23,19,22,27
post-189","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-aad-086-sp19","tag-css","tag-css-layout","tag-flex","tag-flexbox","tag-layout
["GET
