This week we went over how to properly incorporate fonts in our web pages. There\u2019s a lot to typography and there\u2019s even more to know when it\u2019s used on the web!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
An important caveat to consider when using fonts on the web is how big the font is. When someone visits your website, how long will it take for the font you\u2019ve chosen to download? Not to mention, everyone who might visit your website will have a different internet speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One thing you can do to test is by using DevTools inside your browser. You\u2019re able to throttle your connection to emulate any kind of slower network speed inside the \u201cNetwork Tab\u201d. Here\u2019s an article about how to do that in more depth, and also shows other ways to achieve the same thing. Understanding Low Bandwith and High Latency<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Font Awesome<\/a> and Google Fonts<\/a> are amazing resources to greatly improve how your website looks!
