We briefly went over SCSS which is more of a code compiler than a language and, as I read about in threads, was created for people who don’t care too much for CSS. I believe it’s useful to know but I don’t feel it’s necessary to use as a common practice. However, using code compilers is something that is very handy and I can’t wait to explore more of. Code compilers such as Node.js is very handy and Adobe Dreamweaver have compilers built in.

We shortly went over parallax, determined what is true and not true parallax. Parallax is a design effect that shows images as background content to webpages. The images used in parallax shouldn’t be specific to your main content but more for a styling. Example is on a habitat website you wouldn’t use the parallax background image showcasing the habitat if you want to input “see the image to get an idea of what this looks like”. Parallax is great to use on websites as it makes the website design more sophisticated however it’s important to remember that parallax IS NOT mobile supported at the moment.

[230

post-1693","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-aad-086-fa23
["GET
