We also began our introduction to grid layouts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>We started by learning the float model, which is a simple way of moving elements either left or right. We practiced styling some simple pages. Then we reviewed flexbox, which is a way of positioning elements as they relate to the width and height of the screen. I also used the Flexbox Froggy site to practice simple flexbox exercises, and it really helped me to better understand how flexbox works with instant visual feedback. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, we began our introduction to grids. This concept was fairly easy for me to understand, and we practiced using a few different methods to achieve desired looks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally we began to look at our midterm assignment. We will design a &#8216;microsite&#8217; and create layouts for different screen dimensions.
