These last two weeks have been fun as we’ve started out re-introduction to CSS, which is what allows us to style and design our HTML pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
CSS is one of my favorite aspects of Web Design, which makes sense due to my background in creative subjects. I’m still learning quite a bit about what I can do to make my websites look nice, but I’m not quite at a point where I can make anything professionally good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I still want to practice, though, which is why I’ve really liked these past few assignments. It has not only given me an opportunity to re-introduce myself to CSS, but it’s also given me the opportunity to play around with different aspects of it like typography and layout design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My designs so far are still super simple due to my lack of skill and practice (as mentioned earlier) but I’ve been trying to treat these assignments as seriously as possible in order to get better. Practice makes perfect, after all, and in order to get better I have to get all of the bad designs out of the way first. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hopefully, I can get to a point where I can cringe at what I made. That may seem a little weird to say, but if I can get to a point where I can go, “Yeah, that looks really bad for x, y, z, reasons,” then I know I’ve definitely improved. For now, though, I will enjoy the progress I have been making, and I will appreciate my designs for what they are.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
