It was a completely new topic to me in the Spring, and while I was able to commit a good bit of the basics to my memory, there were quite a few smaller details I couldn’t remember or never considered in my first few assignments.

Thankfully, the first two weeks have been a nice reintroduction back into HTML and CSS with the first few assignments. I was hoping that we wouldn’t be thrusted right into a big project, but that possibility was always there in my mind. In nice contrast, the most we’ve done was the Future Resume assignment, which only focused on HTML. Between that and the discussion board’s we’ve had, I’ve been able to get a good grasp on what I remembered, what I didn’t remember, and what I didn’t know about before.

I feel as if I’ve gotten a good grip on HTML again. I know I’m not perfect, but I know I’ll expand my knowledge moving forward in this class, and that’s all I could ask for. I’m excited to get back into CSS again as well.

After a few months of not doing anything related to a new topic you learned, it can be pretty easy to forget bits and pieces of what you were taught.
