For the past two weeks, I have been working on refreshing my CSS skills. This was definitely something that I need to work on since my skills were pretty rusty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
First, we styled the content of a site that was already created. This was a good exercise and it allowed me to focus on just the CSS, rather than creating HTML that also worked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I also learned about normalizing and resetting CSS. I hadn’t heard of it in my previous classes, so it was new to me. I mostly worked with resetting CSS because I liked the freedom that it gave me, but I did try out normalizing CSS when it came to working on my own website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Setting up a website with my own content helped me practice HTML further as well. I didn’t make anything too complex, but it let me practice putting everything into different sections and being able to style my own website from the start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is still a lot that I need to learn, but I am much more confident with my ability to write CSS and HTML than I was before.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
