What is Google Home Hub?

Google Home Hub is Google's attempt at taking over the world by overthrowing amazon’s Alexa. At its most basic, the Home Hub is a 7in digital display photo frame with Google Assistant built in. It is fully capable of answering your questions, playing music and controlling smart home devices. You can also see information displayed on the touchscreen display making it a better choice to an Alexa in some regards.

There’s no webcam on this model because Google deciding that it wanted privacy first and foremost. This in hope will give people the confidence to place the Home Hub wherever they wanted. For night time the light sensor automatically turns the screen off when it gets dark, so you won’t get disturbed if you use the Home Hub on a night table as a sort of alarm clock.
