About Us
Our Mission
Our goal is to inform the public about the importance of animal adoption, as well as provide resources and assistance to prospective pet adopters and current pet parents living within the Grass Valley region.
Our staff and volunteers act as the "411" of pet shelters, vets, and other resources to support animal adoption over pet purchasing. We also collect information on disreputable pet breeders in the area, and help keep consumers aware of their bad practices.
If you are interested in helping us out with our goals, and live locally, please contact us using the phone number and email at the bottom of the page! We appreciate all the help we can get.
Who We Are
Catherine Aragon
Catherine is the officer in charge of public outreach and relations. She has worked with us from the very beginning, and is a dedicated volunteer.
In her spare time, Catherine spends time with her two loving dogs and her family.
Brandon McDonald
Brandon has been with us for the last three years, and is in charge of volunteer affairs. He is extremely friendly and efficient, and helps the volunteers however he can.
Brandon is the proud owner of his three cats, and often brings one to the office with him.
Liliana Ramirez
Liliana is in charge of our financial affairs. This includes all donations and purchases made by the organization, as well as keeping track of all of the financial support that individuals give to us.
She currently works as a banker in Grass Valley, but when she's not dealing with numbers she loves to go to dog parks with her dog.
