About Me.

Hello! My name is Finn McCary, within the past couple of years I have been getting into all things food. This website is just a quick look into what I have been working on and the toys that I have aquired so far in my culinary journey.

Some of my favorite kitchen tools

8" Chefs Knife.

This is my first toy, it is an 8" chefs knife made by Kai Pro. For a first knife it works well. It does not hold its edge as well as I would like, but its better than the knives at work.

Fillet Knife.

This is the newest addition to my toys. A 7 inch Shun fillet knife. Super flexible, (actually almost to flexible) while holding an edge amazingly.

Cutting Board.

If you have knives you have to have a cutting board. This is two foot across bamboo cutting board that my knives just slide across. Plus it is gorgeous.

Mortor and Pestle.

My stone mortor and pestle! I have not used this as much as I would like, but the few dressings that I have made have been really easy to make.
