Hello world, my name is Mark Bixler!

In all honesty, I do not know when or how I will apply the skills I learn in this class, but I do know that it will come in handy one day in some capacity!

I am extremely passionate about antiques, especially how old technology can in some ways be better than modern tech! For example, a record player is more tactile and grounds the music is reality rather than a digital world.

I am so excited to learn about Web Design!

The top three things I would like to learn in this class are:

  1. Effective color usage to make reading a page a pleasant experience
  2. How to strike a balance between too much text/ too little, or the same concept with images
  3. Good coding practices and tools

I'm ready to get started!
