About the Artist
Twenty-five years ago I left Russia as a young adult, seeking new opportunities in America. Like many immigrants, I prioritized stability, focusing on education and building a career. I earned a degree in business, treating photography only as a fleeting hobby, a way to document my new life rather than create it.
When the world stopped during COVID-19, I found myself (like millions of others) isolated at home. During this forced stillness, I picked up my camera, not for work, but for escape.
Today, my work acts as a bridge between my past in Russia and my present in the U.S. My portfolio focuses on fine art photography, often capturing the resilience and beauty in everyday life.
