I picked up my first camera about a year ago, mostly because my husband John kept putting his into my hands. I thought I was just helping him out on a shoot — turns out I was learning to love something I didn't know I'd been missing. A year in, it's officially the thing I want to spend my life doing.
I shoot mostly portraits, couples, and weddings, with a soft spot for anything that lets me work with natural light and people who don't mind being honest in front of a camera. I'd rather make ten images that mean something than a hundred that look like everyone else's feed.
Outside of stills, I co-create short films with my husband John under our studio name, Westfall Visuals. Our most recent project, BESIDE HER, is a short narrative film that means a lot to me personally — you can watch a preview of it on the Film page.
