The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web design and development.

Main course projects

• My First Page

  During this project, we worked on the basics of simply how HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver all work together. It was our very first time using Dreamweaver and our first look into what HTML and CSS truly are. In this assignment we went over the basics on how to build a website including the file set up inside our Master Folder, as well as how to upload it using FileZilla.   

• Squint Studio Build-Along

  During this project we focused on and went over more in depth uses of HTML and CSS. The Squint Studio site is based on a fictional photography business and we followed step by step guided video tutorials with our professor to set up the website for that business.

  Squint Studio  is a main focus in our Web Design class, and we have been building it and learning new skills for several weeks this semester. Through this build along, I have learned valuable skills and vocabulary based on web design that I could not have gotten without a hands on projection like this one such as how to add a link and style it, how to read and build code, add images to our site, and so much more.
