Situated in California and formed in 2018, Ignition has had many line-up changes with the one consistency being musician duo Brendan and Ryan. Since then the two have managed to preserve the rock spirit even throughout the 2020 pandemic. Currently, Ignition are still keeping the energy up even while performing live.

Our Music

"Shadow" our first original song was written with the alt-rock influences of bands like Chevelle and Shinedown which Brendan and Ryan enjoy listening to. The actual creation process went by fairly quickly to be made in time for the original song showcase, we later added a breakdown section torwards the end to give the chorus more of an impact (not included in the video below). "Hazel Leaves" in comparison took quite a bit longer to perfect the lyrics and structure of the song. More melancholic in tone, it reflects the more emotional atmosphere of Sunny Day Real Estate and Funeral Diner which Ben was listening to while writing the riffs for the song (the chorus in the video sounds bad but I blame the sound system they had us using in the venue).
