My First Page
This was the first live site I built in the intro to web design class. Through this site I had learned the bare bones of what coding looked like and how to hand code some style into a website, and how to add images into a site.
Squint Studio Build-Along
Through this site I had learned a lot about web design! Some of the many things this build along had taught me was links and how to add pages to a site and how to link them to a "home page". Another thing this site taught me was how to link CSS and work through an external style sheet for a website. I really enjoyed all of the things i had learned through this project.

Working with Colors Guide - CSS Tricks

This site taught me all of the differences of colors and how to know the difference of hexidecimal, RGBA and other forms of colors for web design and how to read them and know what all of the numbers and letters mean.

Contrast and Color Accessibility Understanding WCAG 2 Contrast and Color Requirements

This site is a very informative website that gives specific specs on search bars, acceptance links and boxes, as well as alert icons and social media links. This site also talked about the best ways to use contrast throughout the web, the kinds of colors like red and blue and what best to use those colors for and how they specify things. Another thing that the site talks about is the contrast with background colors and boxes and how that creates a much more bold definition from the rest of the site.

Designing Better Links For The Web

In the article Designing Better Links For The Web there was a lot of really great examples of how not to write a link for a website (especially fo those who are using screen readers), and how best to write in a link for the web. In the article the writer had stated how often links are labeled as "Link" Or "Click Here" and how that can be very difficult for those who are using keyboard navigation or even a stylus to locate the link because it requires precision. The best way to write in a link is to name the site in the link, give the link a button or a bold look and to make it a longer or larger space to identify and click on.
