Welcome to my course project portal page!
The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web design and development.
Main Course Projects
-
My First Page
My First Page is my first Web-design project. This project introduced me to headlines, unordered lists, and other HTML tags such as the paragraph tag, and strong/emphasis tags. This project also introduced me to Dreamweaver and basic file management for websites.
-
Squint Studio Build-Along
I followed a series of tutorials to create this three-page website. I learned about linking, tag attributes such as "id" and "class," and external CSS. This project gave me a deeper understanding of how HTML and CSS work together to create a website. One of my favorite parts of this project was using the CSS Designer to create rules to style the HTML content.

Final Site
For the Final Site project, each student created a site about anything they wanted. I chose to make a site to share a gluten-free blueberry muffin recipe.
I made the content and layout for this assignment by brainstorming ideas and creating an HTML wireframe. I learned about image optimization, and new CSS techniques such as Flexbox, and how to add background images. This site tested everything we had learned in class and was a great learning experience.
