Hello everybody,

I'm interested in web design for a number of reasons. First off, I love the creative aspect of choosing the most aesthetic design paired with the challenging, logical part of coding. I think that dichotomy very well suits my personality. With my newfound web design skills, I hope to be the person that my friends and family can rely on for all of their online business/venture needs. I'm also considering a possible career path in this realm of web development!

Passion for the arts, love for my family, and determination for the future! I wouldn't say that I was ever the type of person to have only one interest and I've always been indecisive about picking one activity to focus on (both a blessing and curse). I enjoy anything that encompasses music and drawing as I've played piano for almost seven years now and I love to draw on my iPad, using Procreate. I've never really been the social type either as I'm most comfortable with my family. My future, yet again, another uncertainty, is being planned out as I go. All I know is that I'm determined to make the best of what I've been given and succeed at what I'm most (currently) passionate about!

I am SO excited to learn Web Design!

The top three things I would like to learn in this class are:

  1. How to choose complimenting colors
  2. Navigating Adobe software (especially creating beautiful images on Photoshop)
  3. And overall, just practicing my typing skills as I learn the basics of web design/coding!

I'm ready to get started!
