Introduction to Web Design and my Exhibition Page

Welcome to my Course Project Portal Page

These projects were created to explore front-end Web design and development

Main Course Projects

  • My First Page

For the First Page Project, I learned some HTML coding that would be used in a website. In this assignment we followed along in basic coding, just to see how the formatting is and the basic parts involved. As we progress, there are also comment codes that we wrote, that explained what each part does. We also had questions that we answered which were what is someone or something we care about and what we want to learn in designing and developing websites.

  • Squint Studio Build-Along

This is my Squint Studio Site where we not only wrote more complex code, but we also made notes on our overall process. I learned more about the different lists, how to link certain things, and many more. We learned that a great way to be organized when creating sites is to first make the basic code, add a placement image to see how it will look in a browser, and do the CSS coding for last and place the actual image later. This project was more complex, but helped to layout the process that is taken to make a site and the certain coding involved.

  • Final Site

This is my Final Site where the goal is to build a website using the techniques, coding, and other necessary pieces that we learned. This website is supposed to show your level of process after learning these things throughout the semester and as well as show off your creativity. This is our final for the semester, and once we have submitted our websites, we will also share them in a discussion, so the class can see each other’s sites.
