Welcome to my course project portal page.
The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web design and development.
Main Course Projects
-
My First Page
My First Page was our first class coding assignment. We learned how to get connected to and set up Dreameaver, its panel and tool bars and how to properly name our homepage, index.html. We also learned how to set up our filing sequence with the master, source and root folders including assets. The correct file sequence allows Dreamweaver to pull Web ready files to display online.
-
Squint Studio Build Along Site
The Squint Studio Build Along Site was our second coding assigment that included a much more in depth look at coding compared to My First Page. We learned how to code through symantics and syntax. Also how to add images and alt ref for accessability. Then add CSS rule with selectors to change the appearance of the page.

True Hair Studio, My final Site build.
And last but not least, our final course project. I chose to buld a website for my business. It was interesting how all of our prior class projects all came together to help develop this final site. But all that homework paid off when I was able to write content, design the layout with the wireframe and then add the external CSS (cascading style sheet).
