The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web design and development.

COURSE PROJECTS

• My First Page

  The project gives a sneek peak on web design. It shows the difference between an h1, h2 and h3 heading tag, as well as, just an ordinary paragraph tag. It also delves a bit into what a ordered and unordered list and the use of strong tags to emphasize text elements.

  This has really been my first dip into the world of web design and was awesome to see the page up even if it was just a few simple codes to start with.

• Squint Studio Build-Along

  The project works on building the web design skills both through html and css coding. It is a build-along project where one follows the tutorial and does the coding themselves.

  Through the project, I have learned to differentiate between html and css coding. I also learned the beauty of css rules and how it can shape the look of the website and many possibilities it can web designers on the final look and feel of the website.

  Dreamweaver's Properties panel and CSS Designer panel, together with the option to see either the Code or Split view really helps in tying how the code and actual visual look of the website will be.
