Hi, my name is Austin Hayes!

Currently, I have no plans to pursue web design as a career as I am mainly exploring my interests. I plan to use the skills that I learn to good use and learn the basics of web design as it is something we are continuously surrounded by and it’s something I’m interested in diving into.

Somthing I feel passionately about is 3D modeling. Through 3D modeling, I can "give life" to something and just relax. I use Maya and Blender as my two main programs. I started learning Blender at the end of 2019 and began learning Maya this last semester. Currently, I am developing a low-poly style digital game for Roblox and I am also crafting digital sculptures from concept art created by a friend.

I am SO excited to learn about Web Design!

The top three things I would like to learn in this class are:

  1. How to code for web.
  2. What makes a good website?
  3. What are the specifications a website needs?

I'm ready to get started!
