Hi, my name is Trevor Chandler!

I am mainly pursuing music as a career path and going to school for all the skills needed along the way. I have taken a lot of design classes but never anything code based. I'd like to use this class to create a website and merchandise marketplace for my band. At this point we are independent, which means that we have to do all things ourselves from writing/recording songs, social media presensce managment, logo/name design and marketing, merch creation and distribution, and finally website design.

Music Is Everything to me and I believe to the world whether people see it or not. There are so many reasons as to why but the most bare bones fact is that it's infinitely individualistic and multifaceted so you can use it to really define who you are or the exact opposite. You can understand a lot about a person by the music they listen to and at the same time can be completely surpised by someones interst in a specific genre or band. There is so much more to it than this, OBVIOUSLY, but the individuality of it is a major part.

I am SO excited to learn about Web Design

The top three things I would like to learn in this class are:

1. Learn the basics of code as it's importance in the near future is every expanding.
2. Use the knowledge from this class to build a website and merchandise marketplace for my band.
3. Get a new perspective on design as compared to Adobe's other programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
