The Boy and the Heron Synopsis
DESCRIPTION
The Boy and the Heron (2023) follows Mahito, a young boy grieving the loss of his mother who moves to the countryside to live with his father and aunt. The twist is that his aunt ends up marrying his father and has now become his step-mother. Unable to accept this new fate, he retreats to his room often to avoid interacting with his father and new step-mom.
