Welcome to my course project portal page!
The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web design and development.

My First Page
Our "My First Page" assignment was our first introduction to making a site using HTML! This is where we first learned how to code in HTML and also where we learned how to use CSS internally. What was notable about this assignment the most to me was the introduction to Adobe Dreamweaver! I've used a good amount of Adobe programs so far, but this was my first time using Dreamweaver. It was pretty cool learning its file management system and how it works with our own file management system on the computer. Of course, it has also been really fun learning how to code on Dreamweaver and adding design concepts to it.

Squint Studio Build-Along
This class project was a huge learning part for me in this class. We learned all kinds of new concepts within this project including how to use external CSS, how to add and use links efficiently within your sites, how to structure your site effectively, how to organize your HTML code, naming files effectively, and various other useful concepts. The Squint Studio Build-Along also taught me all the nitty-gritty details of what goes into making a successful site and what details to pay attention to that can get overlooked. I'm for sure taking everything I've learned here and applying it as I further my potential career in Web Design Development. This project also got me familiar with Adobe Dreamweaver and that allowed me to make this very site you're on right now!

My Final Site: Fantasy University
My final site was based on a fake university I made up called Fantasy University. This is a creative non-traditional college where education is redefined through artistic freedom. Some of the programs offered here are all things art related such as Web design, interior design, animation, art, and various others. This project was a big help in getting me to learn Flexbox which is an extremely useful layout tool in CSS. Working on this project also allowed me to really gather all the knowledge I learned throughout this course and be able to implement it bit by bit in each section of my site, which was really cool to see the end result. Although there were certain requirments for this project, it ultimately allowed tons of room for creativity which made it pretty fun to work on.
