Welcome to my course portal page!
The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web design and development.
Main course projects

My First Page
Here is where my journey started. This was the very first entry into web design I had ever tried. This may seem like a rather simple page, but everyone has to start somewhere.
With this assignment, the goal may be an introduction to web design, but every step was so interesting to learn more about web design. For this site, a simple introduction paragraph and explanation message was made, introducing yourself to the viewer and explaining your goals for the course. Adding to this, a selfie photo was inserted to the page to learn how to work with images on a siteand how to properly format them. Inserting different font colors and header styles was used as well to add variety to the type used on a page. Lastly, there was the development of the primary viewing window/container, and adding color to the negative space that matches the color scheme.

Squint Studio Build-Along
This is where it got real. this second assignment was a 10 week long undertaking to the creation of a photography studio site.
This assignment is where I learned the most interesting and vital tools for web design. This assignment was where I learned to use CSS rules for the first time, and they were a major game changer. Anything from spacing between paragraphs, to borders and spacing lines can be altered on a page using CSS rules. these rules also allow the use of visual tools such as font colors or how links appear on the page before and after being clicked on, or even frames around images inserted into the page.
Final Site
This is where everything I learned in the class really showed.
This page was created as a portfolio to display artwork I have created both in my free time, as well as projects for previous courses. I was truly amazed with how the site turned out, as when I started this course I knew NOTHING about web design, I am truly proud of this site I created.
