My First Page
The key elements were that we started the file management setup, creating a few folders that hosted this page. Also, set up Dreamweaver preferences, panels and toolboxes we would work with this semester.
Along with learning HTML and CSS and applying comments in your code. As well as practicing good coding habits like making sure your code is indented, staying organized, and linking an image.
By this time, we installed an FTP called FileZilla to upload our website's folder to a server.

Squint Studio Build-Along
To begin with, we went through building a website together and learned lots of new technical information about HTML and CSS. We set up our file management system for the website.
First, we started with the index.html page and added content to it, such as header, main, and footer. Also, we created our portfolio.html page, duplicating and reusing the structure from the index.html page.
Second, we added links to the homepage title or logotype and the navigation bar, along with the CSS, where we got the interface of DW set up for CSS and learned a few basics on adding rules, attributes, and values in DW. Third, we changed the default CSS by selecting the body, added CSS to the header, made a #container div, added colors to the font in the header, and added CSS to the main and footer.
Lastly, we moved on to portfolio.html by duplicating index.html and took a deeper look at margins and padding. And we added titles to the page. We finished by learning about optimizing images and applying the images throughout the website.

My Final Page
Should You Get a German Shepherd is an informative blog that helps people decide whether getting a new dog is the right choice for them. I got inspired by one of my dogs, Axl, and the resources that helped me get through my first dog.
