The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web design and development

Main course projects

• My First Page

  The "my first page" project was my first learning experience with html code, the goal was to expose myself to html and familiarize myself with it, to ease into intro to webdesign

• Squint Studio Build-Along

  Our second project of the class, the "Squint Studio Build-Along" was an indepth look at html and CSS, more so than "My First Page" we built a website from scratch that had multiple pages to browse through, in doing so seeing even more of html coding and hammering in that information. Then there was CSS, the meat of the build which had a huge part to play as well, it was the first time we used CSS indepth to design the pages. It shows us that while you can write html all day but without CSS it is impossible to make it look visually pleasing. These two elements were shown to us extensively and we got to follow every step.

• 3D Modeling Portfolio

  Our final project of the class, we chose our own topic to create a website. This was a test to see what we learned through the course and to see if we could apply it by ourselves being set free in a sense. We first created an HTML outline and a wireframe to get what we wanted out site to basically look like the first stages of development and to see if we could code in HTML ourselves. After that we were set free for a couple weeks with deadlines throughout the weeks to make sure we hit the milstones that were expected of us.
