The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web Design and Development.

Main Course Projects

• My First Page

  This was our introductory project for this course. In this project I learned basic styling concepts, how to use images, and how to write simple code. With this project I learned how to set up projects correctly in a file system. This project also served as an introduction for uploading files to the web. In this case, I learned how to upload files into a FileZilla server and how to obtain my URL.

• Squint Studio

  Squint Studio introduced a more complicated set of design and code principles. With Squint Studio, I learned more about CSS and how to create a stylesheet that can applied to a multiple page website, to keep one cohesive style throughout. Here, topics such as more complex multi-step file systems were introduced.

• Final Site

  For my final site in this class I chose to do a mockup mini portfolio and commission information site. I learned how to optimize my own graphics and han designed every graphic and image used in my site myself!
