Welcome to my course project directory

The following projects have been created as a way to explore and learn about front-end Web design and development.

Main course projects

• My First Page

  This project served as a foundation for the first part of our class. Topics covered include site management, adding HTML, internal CSS and basic visual assets. We also used FTP in order to upload our site to a class server.

• Squint Studio Build-Along

  This project builds upon the concepts in the My First Page assignment by incorporating external CSS, multiple links and visual assets. Here we created a site that can be navigated by clicking through the Home, Portfolio and About sections. Each page also contains a header and a footer that is consistent throughout the site.

• The Vinyl Frontier

  This is my final project. The assignment was to build a website from start to finish and supply all the content ourselves. In addition to using stock images that were optimized for the Web, we included non-system fonts as part of the styling process.
