Welcome To My Tutorial On How To Make Enchiladas With Salsa Verde Sauce!
I discovered this recipe a few years ago and over time I would experiment with adding in extra things and I finally found the right things to perfect the recipe. I think it turned out very well and I wanted to be able to share it with others.
Ingredience
- 2 Cups Shredded Chicken
- 1 Cup Shredded Chese
- 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Cup Salsa Verde(Green Sauce)
- 1/2 Can of Corn
- 1/4 Cup of Sliced Olives
- 6 Flor Tortillas(10in)
Suggested Utensils For Cooking
- Large Mixing Bowl
- 9x9 Oven Safe Pan
- 1 Sheet Of Foil To Cover Pan
Makes about 6-8 enchiladas.
Directions
First put the shredded chicken, corn, olives, and minced garlic into a large bowl and mix the ingredience up. Next add in the cheese and sour cream. Save some of the cheese for later to be put on top pf enchiladas. The mixture might be a little thnk but thats where the salsa verda sauce comes in. Pour in about half of the green sauce into the mixture. Save the rest of the salsa verde sauce for later, that will be used to pour over the top of the enchiladas. You can add more sauce but the mixture shouldnot be to liquidy or it will spill out the ends of the tortilla.
Once everything is all mixed together, prepare the baking pan with some non stick spray or what I do is use a little bit of the salsa verde sauce to spread all over to bottom of the pan to keep it from sticking as well. Now that the pan is prepared, put about 3 spoon fulls of the mixture in a tortilla so it is spread evenly in the middle and reaches both sides of the tortilla. Then roll it up and put the enchilada in the pan. Repeat this until the pan is full with enchiladas. Next pour the rest of the salsa verde sauce evenly over the enchilads, then sprinkle some cheese over the top of them as well.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and then place the foild over the pan so it covers the whole top of the pan. Bake for 15 min and then remobved the foil off and bake for another 5-8 minuets with out the foil so all the cheese on top gets melted. After that take the pan out of the oven and let cool before serving.
