Hello Everyone!

I'm looking to learn web design so that I can use it to create attractive websites to represent my work, such as a wiki to organize my writing, a portfolio website for my art, and a good design for a blog. It's a great skill to have that I'm hoping will help me diversify my artistic skillset and maybe even find me some work in my time off school.

When it comes to what I feel strongly about, I am very much invested in writing, visual art, and music! However, what I feel the greatest pull towards is definitely storytelling in general! Ideally, I would love to incorporate all of these loves into what I devote myself towards. For that reason, I'm very interested in multimedia like video games!

I am SO excited to learn about Web Design!

The top three things I would like to learn in this class are:

  1. How to create a beautiful website layout with blocks, sidebars, and inline images.
  2. How to create consistent, readable designs without the issues that WYSIWYG editors cause.
  3. How to work with colors and elements like animations and gradients.

I'm ready to get started!
