Hey, I’m Crista and I currently attend Sierra College in Rocklin, California to pursue an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design. During my time at Sierra, I have been placed on the President's Honor Roll for Fall 2018 and was accepted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I am currently expressing my ideas through design on a computer screen and every so often, a good, clean sketchbook.
I like to think that my design style has much to do with where I was born and raised, Guam—a beautiful, simple tropical island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Growing up with the “island” way of thinking, I was shaped into an optimistic, genuine and laid-back visionary. A lot of my inspiration originated from watching childhood movies with my younger sister, Isabel, who has since passed away. I was always intrigued by the colorful animations and illustrations and because of that, I tend to combine inspiration from the past as well as the future to fulfill a feeling of nostalgia and bold vision for everyone to enjoy.
